Anthropic introduced Cowork, which takes a goal and works across the folders and tools the user chooses until it delivers the result for review. It shows each step and the choices it makes, and the user can redirect the work at any time. The company's examples include building metric decks, reconciling spreadsheets and doing a first-pass contract review.
Repetitive back-office tasks, such as reports, reconciliations and document triage, are becoming something you can delegate to agents. Before adopting it, define which folders and systems the agent can access and who reviews what it delivers.

Apple picks Google's Gemini as the foundation for the new Siri
According to CNBC, Apple and Google signed a multiyear partnership to use Gemini models and Google's cloud technology in Apple's future foundation models, including a revamped Siri expected this year. In a statement, Apple said Google's technology provides the most capable foundation for Apple Foundation Models. The models will keep running on Apple devices and Apple's private cloud.
Stronger AI features on the iPhone tend to raise user expectations for every app. Companies with iOS apps can prepare to integrate their services with Siri and the system's AI features as soon as the new APIs are published.

The company behind the Astro framework joins Cloudflare
The Astro Technology Company, creator of the Astro web framework, announced it has joined Cloudflare, and the whole team keeps working on the project full-time. Astro stays open source under the MIT license, with open governance, the same roadmap and support for platforms other than Cloudflare. According to the company, the framework gets almost 1 million downloads per week and is used by companies such as Webflow, Wix, Microsoft and Google.
For corporate sites, blogs and content portals, Astro gains long-term backing from a large infrastructure company. It is a solid option for fast sites that are cheap to host, without locking the project into a single provider.
